We visited Koutiala, Mali in May of 2011 to help care for the children at the Koutiala Women's and Children's Hospital. Our hearts were broken by the suffering of the most vulnerable members of this impoverished country.
Dan is a Pediatric Surgeon who hopes to provide compassionate surgical care to the children of Mali. Julie is a SIL trained Bible Translator who hopes to be involved in the Old Testament translation into Minyanka and literacy.
We believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for our sins & was resurrected on the third day. If He was willing to give up so much for us, how can we do any less? We hope to meet the physical need of Mali's poorest with Christ's love.
